Ask Sunny

Sunny has been studying and practicing Tarot since 2014.

Sunny was born Ekaterina Voitsekhovsky, typically known as Katya or Katie, and legally changed her name in 2020. She received her legal name change certificate on September 21, 2020.

Her name change came about when her partner at the time and his family began calling her “Sunny” due to her sunny disposition and Sunny fell in love with it! She believed it came to her from the Universe, so she kept it and decided to make it official!

Friends and family all call her Sunny and of course, the new friends and people she meets along the way.

Sunny has been an Artist her entire life. She has explored creativity, imagination, drawing, painting, doodles and art since before she could talk.

She began her professional career in art and design after studying and graduating from BCIT in 2010, majoring in graphic and web design.

She “came out” as an artist and painter and began sharing her art publicly in 2024.

She began displaying her artwork, prints and stickers at a local art gallery in Nanaimo, BC.

And her work has been featured in news papers and magazines since she was in high school.

Sunny was born in Moldova. She grew up in North Vancouver, BC, Canada, and currently resides on Vancouver Island with gratitude.

Sunny experienced many gifts at a young age, such as Clairvoyance, vivid dreams, mediumship, “downloads” or channelling God and art and creativity.

Sunny has experienced many spiritual awakenings throughout her life with the most profound experiences between 2013-2015, 2017-2018, 2019-2020 with many breakthroughs since then.

Sunny continues her journey in growth and prioritizes self exploration, reflection and inner peace.
